Anyways, I requested a sketch from so I decided to do this since I love doodling. It's the 10 free sketch meme. The first 10 people to request get a free sketch of anything they want (except humans because I suck at those). You don't have to be tagged to do this like usual because I just want to do it to have something to do, besides Plushie commissions. (I am working on those, but exams and schoolwork really killed me this year, I wasn't expecting it to be so hard x__x but rewarding ) so request away!

Also, do you think my pics are good enough to take commissions for (just as a bonus thing, my main commission stuff is still Plushies) for like 3-5 dollars? Or even to take trades for. Of course I'd computer color them and shade them and whatnot. Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings at all ^^ I know I'm not the best doodler in the world.


And did this, and the reponses were interesting, plus I loved the nostalgia. So how did you get into Pokemon? Also, has Pokemon had any major impacts on your life? I know I met so many awesome people because of Pokemon and I first started writing with Pokemon and I have planned to try and get a novel published now. Also, if it weren't for Pokemon, I wouldn't be friends with my roommate right now (since 7th grade, yo) and I never would have met so I dunno where I'd be without Pokemon .__.

As for how I got into Pokemon... (copy-pasta ftw)

Hmm, the first time I ever saw Pokemon was an ad on the back of a Disney Adventures Magazine. It was love <3 I remember coming up with stories about them, though I had no idea what they were. I remember thinking Eevee was cute, even though I didn't know it's name at the time

I remember the card game was quite popular and on the playground after school, kids would trade and such. I rented Red and Blue from Blockbuster and they were epic. My dad found the show on TV and my first episodes were the Paras one and the Breeding Center one where James gets a Victrebell. Awesome stuff. Though I think what cynched it for me was Super Smash Brothers. Playing as Jigglypuff made me obsessed with the pink puffball. Though I got into the card game first, the cards were so cool looking. I got myself a pack with a Charizard on it because I thought fire types would be inside and I wanted a Vulpix XD but my first card (the first one I saw in the pack) was a Diglett.

I was saving my money to buy Blue at one point and I got Banjo-Kazooie o_O go figure. But then a few weeks later, my mom raised my allowance to 10 dollars every two weeks (this was like the only time I got an allowance) and with that ten bucks, I had enough for Blue! I still have my main file in that game and my Blastoise, Squirty XD we were all so young back then. I remember playing and trading after school. It was so much fun <3 My mom got me Pokemon Yellow and the special GBC for my birthday. We got a special magazine that showed the new 100 Pokemon like a year before the games would come out and we'd lay around on the playground and just look at them and daydream about them.

Anyways, that's another story. That's how I got into Pokemon, more or less :3 These kids now-a-days have no idea of the grandness of the original Pokemon XD
